Eagerly anticipated streaming service will arrive in the UK on March 31, 2020.
Additional international launches for Disney’s eagerly anticipated streaming service have been confirmed.
Disney+ will launch in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and other territories in western Europe on March 31, 2020, chairman and ceo of The Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger, confirmed during the company’s end of year and Q4 earnings call yesterday (November 7), reported Screen Daily.
The service is launching next week (November 12) in the US, Canada and the Netherlands. This will be followed by Australia and New Zealand on November 19.
Disney+ will offer 500 films and 7,500 episodes of library TV when it arrives in western Europe. Original movies, specials and series to be offered at launch will include The Mandalorian, the hotly tipped Star Wars spin off.
