Hamsta brand continues global expansion

Happy Ink adds JW Brand Consulting as agent for Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

Those Hamstas are continuing their march across the globe, with brand owner Happy Ink appointing a new agent to handle Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

JW Brand Consulting will take on responsibility for all categories in the territories.

The agent’s Jason Wang commented: “Hamsta has a wealth of trending art direction by the author, Saskia Keiser, perfect for a wide range of merchandise options.

“With fun characters, full of attitude, it lends itself very well to the changing markets we have today, driven by social and digital contents.”

Jacqueline Hofman, Happy Ink’s director of international licensing, added: “We are taking a fresh and confident approach by working with Jason in all mentioned territories, a licensing expert in many categories, with knowledge from both the licensee as well as licensor side.

“We are very excited indeed, to have Jason join our Hamsta family and start spreading smiles in Asia & Pacific.”

JW Brand Consulting joins existing agents Allsorts Licensing (UK), Maurizio Distefano (Italy) and Brad Bushell (US).
