Hamsta World brand heading to the UK

Happy Ink appoints Allsorts Licensing to handle the property’s growth in the territory.

The fast growing Hamsta World brand is coming to the UK – with brand owner Happy Ink appointing Allsorts Licensing to handle the property in the territory.

The busy brand has secured agents in the US and Italy, as well as a brace of global loyalty promotions over the past few weeks.

Now, Allsorts Licensing will be aiming to bring the Hamsta’s quirky brand of fun to various categories in the UK market. These will include stationery and gifts, home décor, apparel and accessories, toys, back to school, bags and personal care among others.

“Happy Ink wants to share the joy in the world, one smile at a time; it’s all about fun and happiness, daily life situations and cheeky Hamsta perceptions,” says Saskia Keiser, owner and creative director of the brand.

“We are very happy that Allsorts is joining our Hamsta family for the UK. With their expertise, dedication and extensive knowledge of the territory, we feel very fortunate to work with John McInnerny and his wonderful team.”

John McInnerny, md of Allsorts Licensing, added: “The Allsorts Licensing team are delighted to join the Hamsta party.

“Without doubt Hamsta World is the next digital brand success. The creator, Saskia Keiser, has true creative flair and we are confident of putting together a strong UK licensee listing.”
