Outfit7 relaunches Talking Tom brand

Company revamps character and app with new look and new features.

Outfit7 has given its Talking Tom character and app a makeover, giving it a fresh contemporary new look and adding a raft of features.

The new look also paves the way for a refresh of the existing licensing programme.

Talking Tom now has a 3D look, while reactions to new foods such as chilli and ice cream have been added, alongside the classic repeat and gross bodily function elements.

Outfit7 has also created additional safety elements to the upgraded app, including the removal of all banners and interstitials.

Further protections have been provided to ensure children cannot leave the app through ads and are not exposed to paywalls when Child Mode option is chosen.

“Talking Tom Cat put Outfit7 on the map, making us who we are today,” said Samo Login, founder and ceo of Outfit7.

“The app has, and continues to embody our company’s youthful enthusiasm. We are confident that long-time fans and new players alike will delight in Tom’s latest features while continuing to savor the pure, instant fun from Talking Tom Cat.”

There have been over 3.6 billion total downloads across the Talking Tom and Friends umbrella and, over the last six years, players have spent 945 thousand years playing with Talking Tom apps, knocking the character down over 191 billion times.
