Key licensed names star in Morrisons ‘huge’ toy sale

Morrisons has unveiled what it describes as a ‘mega’ toy sale, with a number of familiar licensed names making an appearance.

As it becomes the latest supermarket to aim to help its customers spread the cost this Christmas, the toy sale has launched in 423 stores while stocks last, with customers being able to get up to 50% off toys.

Brands featured in the sale include L.O.L. Surprise, Super Mario Kart, Hot Wheels, Barbie, Peppa Pig and Play-Doh among others.

For example, Morrisons is offering Peppa Pig’s Wooden Playhouse for £52.50 – which comes with Peppa and George wooden figures – which is 50% off the RRP.

“We know that customers are under real financial pressure at the moment and want to help them when it comes to their Christmas shopping,” commented David Catton, toy buyer at Morrisons. “We’re reducing the price of our toys now to help customers spread the cost of the festive season and tick off some important jobs.”
