Industry readies for final official fundraiser for The Light Fund in 2023

Execs from companies including Roald Dahl, Acamar, Blues Group, Brands In, Bioworld, NBC Universal, Warner Bros. Discovery and Hasbro among those attending The Light Fund Southern Quiz on Thursday 23 November.

There are now less than two weeks remaining until the licensing industry gathers for the last fundraiser of 2023 in aid of The Light Fund.

And it looks like the industry is planning to see the year out with a bang – raising more important funds for our industry charity in the process – with executives from a wide range of companies already confirmed to take part in the popular Southern Quiz Night.

Thursday 23 November will see execs from the following companies heading to Lords: Acamar, Bioworld, Blues Group, Brands In, Clarity Licence Management, Cooneen, EXG, FOCO, Good Play Guide, Hasbro, Imagine8, Informa Markets, Mojo Nation, Moonbug, Max Publishing, NBC Universal, Rainbow Designs, Rainbow Productions, Retail Monster, Roald Dahl, Rockpool Licensing and Warner Bros. Discovery.

There is still time to get yourself a ticket or submit a team. Tickets are priced at £65 per person (including food) and teams should be between 4-8 people.

Round sponsors so far include Bravado, FOCO, Max Publishing, Rainbow Productions, Reemsborko and Start Licensing.

Last year’s Southern Quiz raised some £5,000 for The Light Fund, with the team from WildBrain CPLG walking away victorious (pictured above). At the other end of the table, the team from F1 became the proud owners of the ‘Pants of Doom’.
