Ninja Warrior UK brand marks five millionth visitor at Adventure Park venues

With the show returning to screens on Sunday 6 April, the Ninja Warrior UK brand is celebrating the milestone of welcoming the five millionth visitor to its Adventure Park venues across the UK.

The Ninja Warrior UK Adventure Parks offer a blend of adrenaline-fueled courses, including the epic Ninja Course, the Warrior Course, two additional obstacle modules, plus the giant Inflatable.

There are currently 18 venues located across the country, with the 19th due to open this summer at Aintree Oval, in Teesside. The parks are designed for all ages and skill levels.

“We are thrilled to have reached the milestone of five million visitors, and it’s a testament to the appeal of the Ninja Warrior UK brand,” commented Jurian van der Meer, evp brand licensing, global partnerships at ITV Studios. “Our Adventure Parks are the perfect destination for families to experience challenges together.”

Mayu Sunaga, director of global business at TBS, added: “I am delighted by the love Ninja Warrior, a globally renowned content from TBS, has garnered as a park in the UK. I hope that Adventure Parks continues to provide countless families with wonderful times ahead.”

The Ninja Warrior TV show (originally named Sasuke), a format of Tokyo Broadcast System Television (TBS), first aired in 1997 and has since been sold into 160 countries with local versions produced in over 20 territories. The UK version is broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX and ITV Studios has the ancillary rights for the show, and to operate the Ninja Warrior UK Adventure Parks in the UK.

The Ninja Warrior UK Adventure Parks are a key part of ITV Studios’ diverse portfolio of events and attractions. The Soap Set Tours, including the Coronation St Experience and Emmerdale Village Tour, collectively welcome over 100,000 visitors annually. In 2023, ITV Studios introduced the Coronation Street Experience, a visitor centre featuring replica sets, costumes, props, a cinema, shop and café. Additionally, the debut of the Loose Women tour in 2023 captivated audiences across 16 nationwide locations, including the London Palladium.
