Including ITV Studios Global Entertainment signing deal with Bernard Matthews for Thunderbirds Are Go.

ITV Studios Global Entertainment has secured a partnership with British food company Bernard Matthews, expanding the FMCG category for Thunderbirds Are Go. Marking Bernard Matthew’s first ever licensed range, the Thunderbirds Are Go turkey shape pack will launch at Asda this month, with other retailers to follow.

Meanwhile, ITVS GE has named the first licensing partners for the Oddbods brand. Bonnier, Cooneen, Misirli, Kids@Play, Whitehouse Leisure and Moonpig are all on board.

20th Century Fox Consumer Products has revealed a number of licensing deals for the Ice Age franchise. An extensive promotion with Chipita is running until spring 2017 across 18 markets in Central and Eastern Europe, while Italian supermarket chain Esselunga has chosen the Ice Age brand to be part of its annual Community Program for Schools. Meanwhile, Les Carroz – one of the most popular family ski resorts in the Alps – will see Ice Age entertain families during the winter 2016/17 ski season.

Rocket Licensing has secured the licensing rights to adult lifestyle and fitness brand, Gold’s Gym. The agent is now looking for partners in categories including sports and ath-leisurewear, fashion apparel, fitness equipment, accessories, publishing, food and drink and health supplements. Gold’s Gym facilities across the country also have retail space to offer official merchandise to visitors.

Silvergate Media has signed up Rainbow Designs as the plush and toy licensee for TV Peter Rabbit, its animated TV series for preschoolers.

UKG is to showcase Boofle‘s move into virtual reality at Brand Licensing Europe. The new virtual world will form the basis for the new Boofle app, which is due to launch in summer 2017.

Zodiak Kids has appointed Dream Theatre as the licensing agent in India for the Mister Maker brand.

Barry Groves is to step down as managing director of licensee Posh Paws at the end of this year. The company is now actively seeking a successor.

Smiley and several of its licensees have been showcasing product at the stationery and back to school-focused trade show, Insight X this week. Partners in the category include Alpa, Diakakis, Blueprint Collections, Sportandem and Claire’s among others.

Cartamundi has revealed three new PAW Patrol games. Now available are Snap and Happy Families card games featuring Ryder and his team of rescue pups, while January 2017 will see the launch of a Game Box.

eOne is to launch Peppa Pig on South Korea’s CJ Tooniverse channel from October 10. The company is also readying the consumer products launch, appointing Gideon Co. as master toy partner for Peppa Pig in South Korea, which will distribute the Character Options toy line. YeaRim-I is also on board as publishing partner.

Acamar Films and global distribution partner Aardman have signed a swathe of international broadcast deals for Bing. The series recently launched on Zappelin in the Netherlands, Poland’s Canal+ and BBC Worldwide in Africa. It is also set to air on Nick Jr in Australia, Disney Junior in South East Asia and Latvia’s LTV.

Toy Fair 2017 has sold out of its entire exhibitor space, almost four months until it is due to open its doors. The show will take place at London’s Olympia from January 24-26.

Character World has partnered with Asda to launch an exclusive adult licensed textiles collection. The range includes single, double and king-sized duvet covers with matching pillowcases, plus double and single-sided printed cushions. The four ranges will feature Star Wars, Marvel, My Little Pony and Care Bears.

MD Licensing has appointed Balocco as a new food licensee for Masha and the Bear.

Mondo TV has appointed Julia Gutiérrez Cillero as licensing manager, focusing on Spain, Portugal and Latin America.

Wissper and Tip the Mouse will expand in Latin America, with m4e AG naming Umbrella as the licensing agent for both properties.
