Heinz adds licensed toddler snack line in UK

Peppa Pig and PAW Patrol will feature on the new range of biscuits.

Heinz has added to its licensed character line-up, introducing a new range of biscuits especially for toddlers featuring Peppa Pig and PAW Patrol.

The company already features Peppa Pig on a line of pasta products, but this will be its first range of biscuits in the UK which are suitable for toddlers, reports The Grocer.

Infant snacking is the fastest growing sector within infant foods, with Heinz stating Nielsen data that sales of infant biscuits grew almost 24% last year.

Becky Smith, assistant brand manager for infant feeding at Kraft Heinz, commented: “Creating biscuits in the shape of the two most iconic characters in preschool entertainment allows us to create a fun and entertaining snack-time for both mother and baby, ensuring that parents remain in the category for longer.”
