F&F ties with Carte Blanche for My Dinky Bear launch

Exclusive launch sees Aykroyds and TDP developing ranges for newest member of Me to You family.

Following a successful reveal to the licensing industry at BLE, Carte Blanche has teamed up with F&F to launch My Dinky Bear into the market.

Targeting the younger girls market, My Dinky Bear is the newest member of the Me to You family.

Working with apparel licensee Aykroyd & Sons, Carte Blanche has developed an exclusive range for F&F, drawing on a ‘mini me’ concept.

There will be four nightwear designs available, all sold with matching mini nightwear for the child to dress their Dinky Bear in. The bear will be sold alongside the nightwear within F&F

In addition, TDP Textiles has helped to support the launch by developing girl’s essentials featuring My Dinky Bear artwork. Carte Blanche has also produced greeting cards.

Natalie Ackerman, licensing manager at F&F, said: “We are very excited at F&F to be launching the new My Dinky Bear range. It’s such a great concept to be able to launch a pyjama and the mini-me version for Dinky.

“The whole Dinky range is a fabulous Christmas gift and we are hoping our customers love it as much as we do.”

In support of the range, there will be an online competition running next week across the F&F and Me to You platforms. The prize will be items from the exclusive range, as well as a £100 F&F gift card. The range will also feature in the F&F Gift Guide.

Talia Tester, licensing manager at Carte Blanche, added: “This project has been a long time in the making and I am so pleased that this range will now be available in stores.

“We have been thrilled with how engaged the F&F team have been throughout, they have helped us build the vision from a bear concept to the range it is now. Aykroyds & TDP have, as always, been fantastic partners and produced the perfect offering for us. Now I can’t wait to see the consumers reaction.”

Sion Aykroyd, of Aykroyd & Sons, continued: “We can’t wait for the launch of Dinky Bear at Tesco. Our nightwear range features Dinky matching outfits so the kids can dress them up with matching onesies, pyjamas and dressing gowns. So cute and a sure best seller.”
