Sanrio strengthens its EMEA licensing team

Margherita Vecchio joins company as international licensing manager.

Sanrio has expanded its EMEA licensing team with the appointment of a new international licensing manager.

Margherita Vecchio (pictured) joins Sanrio from Italian TV channel Boing, while she has also previously worked at The Smiley Company.

She will be based in the Milan office and work across selected EMEA territories and projects.

Simon Gresswell, chief operating officer at Sanrio, commented: “I am glad to increase the team in EMEA. Margherita’s infectious enthusiasm and ambition, will add to our growth in the region.”

Margherita added: “It’s a great honour to be part of the Sanrio family and I am extremely glad and excited to have joined such a fabulous team and contribute to the growth of the business.”
