Sanrio readies new Hello Kitty publishing programme with Egmont

New deal includes magazines and books with first titles due to launch in Q1 2021.

Sanrio is launching a new Hello Kitty publishing programme with Egmont including both magazines and books.

The first publications from the deal are due to launch in the first quarter of 2021.

“Sanrio is really glad to expand our activities in the Nordics, Germany, Central & Eastern Europe and Turkey through Egmont’s new publishing plan,” said Silvia Figini, coo of Sanrio (EMEA, India, Oceania) and Mr Men (worldwide). “The strong expertise of Egmont in bringing content to life combines with Hello Kitty’s unique ability to engage and entertain children.
