Barbie teams with Hype for new kids line

Hype’s streetwear style gets a makeover with five-piece collection.

Mattel is continuing to grow its high profile apparel partnerships for the Barbie brand, inking a deal with streetwear label Hype for a new kids’ collection.

The company’s easy-going style has been given a Barbie makeover for the new five-piece collection.

The casual collection reflects Barbie’s strong aesthetic according to the company, and includes an image of a new Hype-wearing Barbie and the Barbie logo.

The range has been designed for ages three to 13 and will be stocked exclusively in Selfridges.
