eOne has added a number of new licensees for Peppa Pig in Australia. Apparel partner Hot Springs is now on board, along with Pacific Brands for underwear and socks, Park Avenue Foods for dessert treats/ice creams and Beiersdorf for branded plasters featuring the popular character.

Staying with Australia and New Zealand, and FremantleMedia Kids & Family is celebrating the success of the new-look Danger Mouse. The show airs on ABC3 in Australia and TV Four in New Zealand, and has been picking up a strong audience. Licensing partners on board include Banter Toys & Collectibles, which is distributing the toy range from Jazwares, plus Penguin Random House and Roadshow. FME is now receiving strong interest for secondary licensing categories. Meanwhile, Danger Mouse Classic will benefit from a stamp pack arriving in April, while Empire Apparel has signed up for outerwear.

Smiley has teamed with M.L.P (Marketing Licensed Products) for the launch of a new baby apparel line. The collaboration will launch later this year in stores across France.

DreamWorks Animation has added Clementoni to the licensing programme for Dinotrux. The company will launch a range of children’s puzzles in April featuring the brand.

A new Shopkins construction line will further expand the brand – with Trends UK due to launch Kinstructions. The range launched pre-Christmas in the US and was a sell out success in Toys R Us.

Cartamundi has revealed a number of new launches inspired by Disney Princess and Disney-Pixar Cars. A Snap game, two-in-one game and a game box will be available for both brands.

Studio 100 International is continuing to grow the Heidi property in Latin America, securing three new agreements in Argentina. International Merchandising Consultants is the licensing agent in the territory. The company has already struck deals with Feg Entretenimientos for a live show, Stickers Design for trading card games, stickers and albums, plus Daysal for tableware.

Autumn Fair – organised by i2i Events Group – has been shortlisted for Best Trade Show at this year’s Exhibition News awards. The ceremony is due to take place on April 28 at Park Plaza, Westminster, London.

Maurizio Distefano Licensing has confirmed that characters from preschool animation Masha and the Bear will appear at the 45th birthday of Italian amusement park, Leolandia.

YooHoo & Friends characters are among those which are due to participate in the 2016 White House Easter Egg Roll on March 28. This year’s theme will be ‘Let’s Celebrate’ to honour the final Easter Egg Roll of the Obama administration.
