Aardman unveils print on demand product store

Company partners with Watermelon for launch of online personalisation service.

Aardman has partnered with Watermelon for the launch of Aardman by Me – the company’s first print on demand product store.

The online shop allows fans to customise and personalise a wide range of product including apparel, gifts, homewares and tech accessories.

A name, slogan or design choice can be added to the products, with characters including Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and Morph.

Further character ranges are in development and will be released later in the year.

Rob Goodchild, head of licensing at Aardman, said: “The launch of Aardman By Me gives consumers access to a great collection of high-quality customisable products.

“The flexibility of the design process allows us to follow trends, test new design styles and make sure we can quickly react to fan requests.”

Jonathan Sieff, md at Watermelon, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with Aardman and adding this hothouse of British Creative talent to our portfolio of ‘By Me’ customisation and personalisation sites.

“We know that Aardman fans of all ages will love having the opportunity to create their own bespoke products either for themselves or gifts for others.”
