Paddington is heading to Joules this winter, with the company teaming up with The Copyrights Group on a new baby collection featuring the popular character.
The 12-piece clothing range includes a selection of babygrows, dresses, tops, knitwear and more, suitable for babies up to 24 months.
Adorned with colourful applique designs and Joules’ own hand-drawn prints, the collection is a modern take on Paddington.
Highlights include the Printed Puddlesuit – which packs away into its own pocket, is waterproof and has a full zip fastening and hood, featuring hand-drawn prints of Paddington – plus the Ivy Knitted Jumper with applique artwork of Paddington driving a London bus; and the Zippy Babygrow which features a zip fastening which replaces traditional poppers, while sizes up to three months have built-in scratch mitts. The print has been hand-drawn by Joules and features Paddington along with other icons from the classic story.
“Copyrights are absolutely delighted to be partnering with Joules on this gorgeous Paddington for Baby collaboration, preparing little cubs to embark on many adventures with our beloved bear,” commented Rachel Clarke, svp UK, licensing and retail at The Copyrights Group.
Tom Joule, founder and product director at Joules, continued: “Paddington is much-loved by the Joules customers and it is wonderful that such an iconic British character is in collaboration with an iconic British brand.”
