Former Pyramid International and Rubie’s exec joins toy company as marketing director.
Sambro has strengthened its head count, appointing David Wootliff as its new marketing director.
David (pictured) has a wealth of experience in the toy and licensing sectors. Most recently he held the role of commercial director at Pyramid International, while he has also held senior positions at Rubie’s, Hallmark, Hasbro, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Disney.
His experience covers product development, as well as licensing and marketing commercial skills, having worked in both UK and international roles.
“It is exciting to get such an experienced marketing and licensing specialist into the Sambro business, as we look to drive into the next phase of growth,” said Tony Hicks, ceo of Sambro International. “It is such a bonus that David can hit the ground running from day one.”
