Duran Duran reveals fragrance brand collab

Band teams with NY brand D.S & Durga on collab marking four decades of its music.

Duran Duran has collaborated with New York fragrance brand, D.S & Durga, on a limited edition fragrance collection.

The line aims to celebrate four decades of the band’s music and is available exclusively at Liberty London.

Each of the four fragrances have been inspired by iconic songs from Duran Duran’s back catalogue: Hungry Like The Wold (1982), Come Undone (1993), Skin Divers (2007) and You Kill Me With Silence (2015).

“We grew up on Duran Duran, and were really excited when they called,” said perfumer David Moltz. “Simon [Le Bon] came to my studio and we worked closely together to translate the lyrics and images from the songs into scent. Simon has a great instinct for perfume, so the process was seamless.”

Duran Duran frontman Simon added: “I just didn’t want to smell like every body else, so got working with D.S. & Durga to create something different. The collection we came up with is four very different new scents which are brave, original, cut to the heart and ring like glass. I love every one of them.”
