Mary Berry revamps dressings and sauces

Re-designed pack unveiled for branded range ahead of peak summer sales season.

Mary Berry’s dressings and sauces have been given a ‘vibrant’ new packaging look, as the brand thinks ahead to the key summer sales season.

Launching in March, the range includes Classic Salad Dressing, Light Salad Dressing, Caesar Dressing, Special Mustard Dressing, Honey & Balsamic Vinegar Dressing, Lemon & Thyme Sauce and Mango, Lime & Chilli Dressing.

The design now features colour-coded labels, reported Talking Retail.

This follows consumer research which found that the new look ‘resonated more strongly with existing fans of the brand’, while new shoppers said they were ‘keen to start making purchases from the new look line-up’.

The launch will be supported with a social media campaign, while activity is also planned around Vegetarian Week and National BBQ Week events in May.

“Dressings are a year-round purchase for many shoppers, and there is always a clear surge in interest from the end of March that can run through until the end of September, so this is clearly a great time for us to be going out with a vibrant new look for the brand,” said Anne-Marie Cannon, brand manager for Mary Berry’s.
