Just a matter of days until The Licensing Awards 2020

Get a feel for next week’s big night with the official brochure; don’t forget to make your winner predictions for the chance to win cash with Born Licensing.

With just days to go until The Licensing Awards 2020 bursts onto your laptop screens, the final touches are being put in place for this year’s special virtual event.

The awards event is free to attend and will take place from 6.15pm on Wednesday December 16.

Despite the inherent challenges this ongoing period has presented, the character and entertainment licensing community has most definitely done itself proud on the product, retail, property, marketing and promotional fronts.

Thanks to the wonders of technology, the entering and judging all took place online and the awards ceremony (and pre and post celebrations) will be hosted on the Hopin digital platform.

To register for the event, simply click on this link.

‘Voice of the balls’ and Strictly Come Dancing, Alan Dedicoat has been lined up as the official finalists’ announcer, while there may also be some surprise guest appearances.

To get a flavour for the event, check out this year’s official brochure by clicking here.

Also, don’t forget that Born Licensing is giving you the chance to win some cold, hard cash with its award winner prediction competition.

The lucky person who gets the most correct award winner predictions will win £300. The person in second place will win £150 and the person in third place will win £50. In the case of any ties the prizes will be split.

To enter the competition all you have to do is submit your predictions using the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LicensingAwardsPredictions

To validate your entry, you’ll then need to pop into the Born Licensing session room during the virtual pre-drinks session between 6.15pm-7.30pm on December 16 to confirm you’ve entered (simply search ‘Born Licensing’ on the virtual platform to find the session room).
