Silent auction and prize draw will run until midday on Thursday December 17, raising much needed funds for industry charity.
The Light Fund Christmas auction and raffle is now live, with a plethora of companies contributing some money can’t buy opportunities.
In a year where it has been impossible to schedule any major fund raising events, the industry charity is taking a different approach with its silent auction and a prize draw, ensuring that there is something for everyone to have a go at winning.
The site – which can be found by clicking here – went live on Friday (November 27), with over £4,000 already raised.
With virtual events becoming the new normal this year, there are a number of prizes to ensure that whatever lockdown brings, the show will go on.
These include a birthday party hosted by Sooty and Richard Cadell for one lucky child and five of their friends, plus Jonny Duddle ‘Zooming’ into a classroom to host a Gigantosaurus live drawing and reading event.
As and when real life events return, there are some incredible lots including a trip for two to the MTV European Music Awards (including the after party) and a pair of tickets to watch The Lions play Japan at Murrayfield.
Tickets for the raffle, meanwhile, are priced at £10 each with prizes including a £500 online shopping voucher for The Entertainer/Early Learning Centre and a £500 Selfridges voucher.
“We have been blown away by the number of people who have generously donated some incredible auction and raffle prizes,” said Anne Bradford. “We are still open for donations of auction lots and raffle prizes so if you are reading this thinking that you have something that you would like to offer (material or virtual), then please do get in contact as we can add these in at any time.”
If you would like to contribute to the prizes, then you can contact Anne at anneb@poeticbrands.com or 07788 585343.
