My 2017 Predictions: Mel Beer, Amscan

The company’s EMEA licensing director gives her thoughts on the big trends for the year.

It’s now February, and there have been numerous reports on the key trends, brands, films and retailers to watch for this year.

But what does the licensing industry itself think?

We gave them the chance to gaze into their own crystal ball and tell us their views on what will be the big brands and trends making an impact on retail shelves in 2017.

“We have high hopes for Num Noms and Shimmer & Shine to break through in 2017.

“I also think that PAW Patrol, Pokémon, super heroes – check out our LEGO Batman range – and Star Wars to continue strongly.”
