Parragon readies Beauty and the Beast line

Storybooks and activity books to launch to coincide with new Disney live action film.

With the highly anticipated Disney live action movie due to arrive on March 17, Parragon is readying for the launch of its accompanying Beauty and the Beast publishing collection.

The primary formats in the range will consist of storybooks and activity books, with the key target audience being eight to 16 year olds.

Titles will include Beauty and the Beast: Book of the Film, Beauty and the Beast: Design & Doodle and Beauty and the Beast: Write, Inspire & Create.

These will line up alongside the original novelisation, Lost In A Book, which Parragon confirmed at the end of January.

The Beauty and the Beast range will be supported with a website presence, in addition to social media activity across Parragon’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels.

Duncan Hamilton, director of licensing EMEA of Parragon, said: “We are really pleased with our new Beauty and the Beast product range.

“We hope our products will delight and inspire children and young adults, and especially encourage girls to be brave like Belle and chase their wildest dreams.”
