Agency will aim to extend the brand into new consumer products categories.
The Point.1888 has been appointed as the brand extension partner for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
The agency will look to extend the iconic brand into new consumer product categories, helping to reflect the rescue centre’s personality and reputation at retail.
As well as raising further awareness for the charity, the partnership will allow consumers to have products that carry the brand’s pet expertise, quality and care factor in their homes.
“Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is a true British icon and an incredible charity that is very close to our hearts, aligned with our ethos,” said Will Stewart, md of The Point.1888.
“They make a positive impact with everything they do and we are honoured to help them find partnerships within retail and consumer products.”
Amy Zalin, licensing manager at BDCH, added: “The Point.1888’s experience with connecting great brands and retailers is exactly what we are looking for to showcase and expand our presence in retailers.
“We are confident the partnership will maximise income from the licensing programme to help us care for even more dogs and cats.”
