Moschino unveils new Looney Tunes collection

High fashion range includes 90’s-inspired street wear emblazoned with images of characters such as Bugs Bunny, Taz and Tweety.

Moschino’s new autumn/winter collection featuring popular Looney Tunes characters has hit retail.

Branded store windows across the fashion house’s European stores are raising awareness of the collaboration, running in Milan and Rome for a two-week period. The collection will then launch in London and Los Angeles later this month.

Moschino’s Looney Tunes collection made its debut at Milan Fashion Week in February, to much acclaim from the fashion press, and has been spotted on a number of A list celebrities. The product line includes 90’s-inspired street wear such as sweaters, joggers, basketball jersey dresses and leather bomber jackets, among others, all emblazoned with images of iconic characters such as Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Sylvester, Taz, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig.

Designer Jeremy Scott took the line one step further by ensuring that the characters on the clothing were also wearing Moschino.

The collection also includes a range of matching accessories such as phone cases, wallets, large and small bags, boots, flats and high heels. Prices range from £38 for the phone case up to over £700 for the short dresses.

Karen McTier, executive vice president, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Jeremy Scott to bring the universal appeal of the iconic Looney Tunes characters to Moschino’s autumn/winter 2015 range.

“We know our high fashion fans will enjoy this chic meets pop culture collection that is a true combination of the Looney Tunes’ attitude and Moschino’s flare.”
