H&M continues WWF collaboration with new range

Latest kids’ collection highlights plight of animal species which are at risk.

Fashion retailer H&M is continuing its collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), launching its latest kids’ collection.

The new range highlights the plights of several wildlife species which face threats from habitat loss, water pollution and climate change.

These include tigers, snow leopards, polar bears, whales, elephants and penguins.

The new collection for babies and children up to 14 includes sweatshirts, leggings and hooded dresses. The colour palette runs from pastels and neutrals through to black and grey.

David Bloch, head of corporate marketing partnerships at WWF International, commented: “We are thrilled to collaborate with H&M on another collection.

“This campaign is an extension of our long-term transformational work with the company. It will not only raise funds for WWF, but hopefully will also inspire a new generation of environmental champions.”

Anna Gedda, head of sustainability at H&M Group, added: “We only have one planet and we all need to team up to preserve it for generations to come. We have an ambition to be fully circular. As part of that, we have set the goal to only use recycled or other sustainably sourced materials by 2030.”

H&M first worked with WWF on a collection in 2010, before launching a follow up line in 2016, according to CWB.
