Medialink launches Ani-Kids edutainment VOD platform

The Hong Kong first edutainment video on demand platform includes content from around the world.

Following on from the success of the Ani-One platform in the region, Medialink has launched its Hong Kong first edutainment video on demand platform, Ani-Kids.

The platform – which launched in myTV Super on September 19 – is aiming to showcase entertainment and educational content from around the world.

A wide variety of titles are already available including Food Man (which is shortlisted for the Golden Bell award); singing preschool series, Leo and Truck: Sing with Leo; Korean-made creative preschool animation, Robocar Poli Nursery; eco-friendly themed Happiplaygroun; and Kawanimals, stories of animals teaching children to heal the world with kindness.

In addition, Ani-Kids will also include English Tree TV which has a collection of popular children’s songs including colours, ABCs, vehicles, fruit, feelings and more.

Japanese animation series for older kids also include Ninjaboy Rantaro and Kaasan Mom’s Life.

Medialink is aiming to add further content to the platform and is also seeking opportunities to roll it out to other Asian territories.
