Snowtap aims for busy Top Drawer

Following a recent deal with The Art File – brokered by licensing agent Kirstie Guthrie at KJG – to offer a range of greetings cards based on graphic design and illustration property, Snowtap, the brand will be present on The Art File’s stand (O48) at Top Drawer this week (20-22 February at Olympia London).

Since launch six months ago, The Art File has reported strong sales of the Snowtap range of greetings cards.

To further extend the partnership between The Art File and Snowtap, KJG – which manages the rights for the artwork property – has recently signed Tall Boy, part of the Art File, to create prints and wall décor based on the artwork.

Snowtap’s artwork is brought to life with witty puns and features illustrations in watercolour, line drawing and hand-drawn typography. It was founded in 2016 by university friends, Susy Snow and Gracie Tapner, and began life selling two greeting cards online and in a local gift shop in Newmarket. It now has over 60 designs in its portfolio and a growing licensing programme.

“Our cards with The Art File have been incredibly well received and we are thrilled to be growing our partnership with them with new products in the range as well as the recent partnership with their sister company, Tall Boy,” commented Gracie and Susy. “We’re really looking forward to exhibiting with them at Top Drawer and meeting new potential customers for the brand.”

Kirsty Guthrie, md of KJG, added: “The success of this partnership is testament to the strength of Snowtap’s designs and the expertise of The Art File – the perfect combination. I’m excited to watch this collaboration grow and to see the new stockists coming on board over the coming months.”
