ITV Studios reveals raft of deals for Schitt’s Creek

New US and Canadian deals tie in with sixth and final season of hit comedy.

ITV Studios has confirmed a raft of new US and Canadian deals for hit comedy Schitt’s Creek.

The new deals come ahead of the arrival of the sixth and final season of the show. This will air on the same day and time across the US on Pop TV and Canada on CBC, with syndication across the US to follow in autumn 2020 along with Netflix in the US, UK, Eire, Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Japan.

Licensing partners include Rizzoli for 2020 and 2021 calendars; Beekman 1802 for a collection of high-end gift toiletries based on the in-world brand, Rose Apothecary; Hi-Line with an official web store and support for ongoing live shows and tour merchandise; and Funko for Pop! Vinyl figures based on the main characters.

UGC and fan art designs are also available direct to consumer through Redbubble.

To celebrate the launch of the new season, Pop TV held exclusive pop-up Visit Schitt’s Creek immersive experiences in New York City and Los Angeles this past November and December, with Hi-Line servicing the official merchandise.

In addition, Beekman 1802 is planning a Rose Apothecary-branded takeover in its flagship New York store on January 7 to promote the new range and the return of the series.

Further deals currently in negotiation include apparel, publishing and other merchandise tie-ins.
