This week’s fundraising event for charity gets the industry chuckling.
The Light Fund held its first ever comedy night on Monday (April 23), with the event raising some £1,500 for the industry charity.
The evening – which took place at Hoopla Improv Comedy Club at London Bridge – was compered by stand up comedian Matt Green.
Character comedian Jon Bor and stand up Stefano Paolini continued the evening, before headliner Richard Morton took to the stage.
Companies including Bulldog Licensing, Sanrio, BBC Studios, UBM, Forever Collectibles, Rockpool Licensing, Max Publishing and Roald Dahl among others all attended.
The comedy night was the second official fundraiser for The Light Fund in 2018, following on from the Northern Quiz Night in March.
The next major event is the Bristol to Dublin cycle challenge in June.
