Disney Store unveils new mix and match line

New collection features characters designed in the ‘kawaii’ style of art.

Disney Store has taken the wraps off a new collection, specially designed for mixing and matching.

MXYZ (pronounced ‘mix-up’) is geared towards the tween/teen audience and includes drinkware, stationery and backpacks among other lines.

Products feature favourite Disney and Marvel characters designed in the ‘kawaii’ – which means cute in Japanese – style of art.

There are four distinct art patterns available from launch – Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Stitch and Marvel – with each collection featuring items such as water bottles, journals, bags, file folders and backpacks.

“Everything is about personalisation and self-expression right now, so we’re excited to offer a collection that allows our guests to connect with the characters they love in a new and fun way,” said Jason Stewart, director of global product development for Disney Store.

“MXYZ is the perfect mix of cool items designed with a fresh Japanese art style that is totally on-trend.”

Items within the new MXYZ line range in price from £4.99 up to £15.99, with new artwork styles being introduced quarterly.
